  • Advocating for transparency in the budget process so Reps and the general public have adequate time to review proposed budgets
• Reproductive justice
  • Advocating for and voting for the Reproductive Privacy Act
  • Championing the Equity in Coverage Act legislation to assure abortion coverage for people on Medicaid and state health plans
• Economic Justice
  • Supporting legislation to increase minimum wage
  • Advocating for investments to help individuals who are dealing with chronic homelessness
  • Supporting legislation for fair taxation
• Environmental ​Stewardship
  • Supporting Statewide Plastic Bag Ban legislation
  • Support for legislation strengthening the Resilient Rhode Island Act
• Common sense gun legislation
  • Advocating for and voting in favor of the ghost gun ban

As a Democrat active in local and statewide issues, Liana brings a background of problem-solving and collaboration. 

She has proven to be an engaged leader that the community can trust to listen and to work on their behalf in the General Assembly.
